I would also like to give a special mention to Jeevan, who looked after us during our visit. He was professional, friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from start to finish. His excellent customer service truly added to our experience and made my birthday celebration even more special. Thank you, Jeevan, for your kindness and hospitality.

The food was wonderful but we had to wait quite a long time because one of our party had ordered the pie and it was cooked from scratch (that doesn’t happen in many restaurants and meant it was superb quality) . The waiter (who was mostly excellent) was new and had forgotten to warn us about this… if we’d have known, she would have chosen something else as we were all pretty hungry! On a plus point, the Fox was really accommodating, I kept having to change the size of the party and this wasn’t a problem! I would definitely recommend going to The Fox Inn to anyone wanting excellent quality food and a lovely atmosphere.

Nice location, next to the river and close to colleges. Friendly and efficient service. I always have the fish and chips and a pint (or two) of cider- beautiful!

A small establishment with freshly cooked fine foods. Not a big menu, but the choice you get, you know will be freshly sourced and cooked. The staff are very friendly and ensure you feel comfortable.
