We are very passionate about home cooking, therefore we make our own fresh pasta, focaccia | ciabatta bread and desserts. We have an extensive Italian wine list, ranging from small producers from different parts of Italy to well-known vineyards such as Antinori. Our Alfresco dining can sit up to 50 guests. 'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. Sunday roasts with 'all thetrimming's' - we tried beef and pork - had everything a Sunday roast shouldhave. Somewhere rather spiffing to go' (Fay Machsler, Evening Standard)

    Gauchos Richmond is one of our favourite restaurants. Whether you prefer sitting inside or eating al fresco with great views of the river it’s lovely. We like visiting as all the staff are welcoming friendly & professional , the food is delicious & they serve a wide choice of cocktails/wine, drinks. Added Bonus for us is it’s dog friendly our small dog loves it, he’ll try and go in whenever we’re passing. We visited on a Sunny Saturday but opted to eat inside. We enjoyed a really delicious meal & drinks. I loved the Gazpacho so fresh & flavoursome, followed by Seabass served on creamy corn, green beans & baby peas it was cooked to perfection crispy skin, succulent flesh. My partner had a Ribeye steak with sides which he said was cooked perfectly too … Eliot who looked after us was brilliant, friendly & made sure we had everything we wanted. Wish we’d had room for dessert as love the Pancakes with Banana Ice cream & caramel sauce …. but we’ll definitely be visiting again soon. We usually choose from the Al a carte menu but the fixed price Lunch menu is incredible value/option too. Just realised I sound like I must have shares in the company 😂 sadly I don’t. Just believe in giving credit where it’s due. Great team.

    Really impressed with Watermans. The food is honestly Mayfair level quality but without the fuss, everything we had was spot on. Cocktails were great (dangerously easy to drink), and the wine list is actually very solid. Proper nice atmosphere as well. Will definitely be back.
