I’m an old acquaintance of Ken’s, and have been waiting to make it up to Boston for a very long time. His restaurants didn’t disappoint! Wasn’t able to make our res at Little Donkey, but we’ll make it when we’re back in Jan. Vervein café with chef Monica and Faccia a Faccia are pristine well oiled machines putting out art on every plate. From the tuna tartar and carpaccio to the bolognese, hanger and tiramisu, this place competes on a whole other level! We sat at the bar, had excellent cocktails and service by Gerardo, a true professional. We have been in the service industry for over 30 years, and we’re still talking about this dinner a week later! Bravo Ken and team! We can’t wait to come back and get to Toro and the other spots.

Ledger is one of my favorite restaurants in Salem. I try to go at least once a month however I have back to back reservations this week to celebrate spooky season being over. Not only is the food always delicious and amazing quality the staff is always happy to serve you and very accommodating and welcoming. The spooky drink specials are always fun although it’s the Ledger Painkiller that gets my vote every time! My go to is either the burger, the pasta, or the half chicken but you can’t go wrong with anything and it’s a sin if you skip the popovers

My wife and I had a wonderful time. Service was exceptional as always. Oysters Rockefeller was very good. A little lite on the sauce so the spinach dominated the flavor of the oysters. Oyster quality was very good. Lobster bisque was exceptional with lots of lobster meat. The clam chowder was very good. Thick and creamy great flavor. Just a little pricey. The filet mignon and NY strip both had great flavors and texture. Cook perfectly and seasoned perfectly. Both beautifully tender. For sides we had the broccolini and french fries. Broccolini cooked perfectly and well seasoned. French fries cooked in beef talo were perfect and flavorful. Desert we had the butter cake which was wonderful. Service was impeccable and completed a perfect dining experience.

Gorgeous view! Hip vibe! Amazing food! The short rib lasagna was the best lasagna I've ever had!! Pistachio Gelato was equally amazing. 10 out of 10!
