Had an early dinner with my son. We had a 5:15 pm reservation on a Thursday evening, which turned out not to be necessary, as we were in before the rush. Our server (Miranda(?)) was super attentive and delightful in conversation, and the food was very fresh and delicious. My 12-year-old boy had the cheeseburger, and I can tell you that in spite of being an Italian restaurant, they make a very good cheeseburger, with a delicious bun that is grilled with butter and super tasty. It is not a "kid's menu afterthought" (and it is a bit pricey). I had the Chicken Parmesan, which was delicious and more than ample in size. Both the cheeseburger and the Chicken Parmesan were enough for two meals, and if we had been in a position to get leftovers into a fridge in acceptable time, we would have gotten two to-go boxes. We split the cannoli with two decaf coffees for desert, which was the perfect ending for a great meal. Birraporetti's is and has been for some time our go-to pre-downtown-show stop; this evening, it was our dinner prior to the Cameron Carpenter organ concert at Christ Church Cathedral, which was also wonderful.

We had drinks only, so cannot rate the food. I gave it a 3 because I wanted to submit a survey. Very pleasant and intimate setting with friendly, attentive service and reasonably priced drinks. We'll definitely be back.

Food is always good. The big bowl of French fries is always a must! The red fish and shrimp etouffee the snapper were good. Ended the meal with a shared piece of flourless chocolate cake and a cappuccino before heading into the show.
