Their father's illness and his sister, their Auny who was a family favorite, These woman stepped up and did a Great job for their families all while continuing to work and tall care of their individual immediate family duties as wife and mother. I want to CELEBRATE them and let them know that what they were doing what noticed, RESPECTED and APPRECIATED!!! The Marriott Warerfront restaurant, Apropoe's, enabled to do.juat that. The food, service, and ambiance was Superb!!! Everyone enjoyed themselves and it was better than I every cpuld imagine. The restaurant manager called me personally before my reservation date to ensure me that everything would just as I wanted. And he was even there when we arrived and to introduce himself. He then throughout out meal stopped by our table to personally check on us and to make sure that everything lived up to my expectations. In essence he and the restaurant was more than I imagined. - JJosephBaltimore / Maryland •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis time by guests and I tried to change up our meal. We ordered to appetizers to share: the zuchettes and the Buffalo cauliflower. Both were excellent but the cauliflower was at another level. The spinach salad here is one of my favorites so I started my meal with it and was not disappointed. After years of ordering the Salmon alla Bella I branched out and ordered the grilled pork tenderloin. Folks, I'm not going back. A perfect dish. My dining guests both got salads with grilled chicken--one the spinach and the other the berry. Both enjoyed their meals. A word about the server, Peter, I explained our ordering strategy to him before we started. The meal was well paced, he was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. And he didn't neglect refilling the iced teas. We were too full for dessert but will save that for the next visit.(As a side note, we were early for our reservation--it didn't take as much time to go through the Matisse exhibit as we anticipated. He host at the front desk (I didn't get her name unfortunately) was pleasant and efficient. Her demeanor added to the positive vibes before we even were seated.More infoGertrude's - Baltimore$$$$• American• Charles Village•4.5
