Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Abington

My maple glazed salmon was excellent, as were the sides of butternut squash, spinach, asparagus, and wild rice - My husband's cod was equally great - The creme brulee trio was perfect for dessert - The only reason that I didn't give the service a 5* is that the restaurant seemed to be a little short staffed and it looked to us that our waitress was the only one hustling to get her tables taken car of - We would definitely recommend 75 Chestnut and we will be going back.

The food at Comfort Kitchen is so, so good. It’s that rare place where the dishes feel genuinely comforting and still surprise you. We had the duck drumettes, fried okra, mushroom entrée, and prime rib, and even the drinks were delicious. If you order two things, make them the fried okra and the prime rib. The prime rib was new on the menu when we went in November, and I’d go back just to have it again.

Company lunch and the sandwich was fresh and spicy just as I like it. :)

Great atmosphere - sat at the bar - bartender great and personable. Nice vibe and the food was excellent, good quality and portions.

Everything was really good except we ordered an extra sauce pizza. It came with less than normal sauce. Our server (Ashley who was awesome) offered to have it remade. That would’ve thrown the timing off for the other pizza already delivered. She did offer to and bring some sauce in a bowl. It’s just not the same as baked in. But aside from that everything was great. It was 2 for Tuesday. So buy a pizza and get a free pizza. That is a great deal! Caesar salad was very fresh with nice crispy lettuce. Meatball side was really good. Service was excellent. Restaurant very clean. That includes the rest room. Being a senior citizen I felt very comfortable there. Would recommend for families especially the 2 for Tuesday pizza deal. Would recommend for seniors with a nice comfortable atmosphere
