Best Restaurants for Foodies in View Park

Had been wanting to try Chi Spacca for awhile as we love the others in the Mozza family. Small but cute place. Beer and wine only (like Pizzeria Mozza). We took our server’s suggestion for the dates, bread and veal tongue appetizers, Caesar salad, chicken dish and a smaller than their regular menu pork chop tomahawk (they were out of the regular size pork chop on their menu) and mashed potatoes. All were excellent. The veal tongue was an entire plate - huge portion. The chicken dish was 1/2 a chicken, the pork chop was enough for 4 people. We left with an entire grocery bag of leftovers. It was ridiculous! A server should always inform customers of the portion sizes. We eat out a LOT and have never experienced such a poor communication on how much food we should order.

The waiter and wait staff were very attentive. For our party of 8, food came out at same time and all dishes were exceptional. Views outstanding !

We went for my husband’s birthday and received exceptional service. Our server, Mickey, was lovely and made both excellent food & wine recommendations. All were spot on. They sent over a lovely surprise dessert with a birthday candle. Nice touch. It was a nice way to share an enjoyable birthday evening. Thank you…

Bavel never disappoints. All 5 of my guests I brought agreed it was their best meal of the year. The service is impeccable. The staff is all very knowledgeable as is the sommelier. The drinks were perfectly crafted with some unique twists. The food is amazing, simple dishes that are prepared to perfection, as well as some more complex dishes with unique spices to some. Great music as well. I cant recommend Bavel enough.
