Popped into The Boat Inn yesterday for my first time and loved it. Service was spot on throughout dinner, staff were super attentive and friendly. The vibe is proper cozy and calm, perfect spot to just kick back and unwind after work. Highly recommend.

Always a lovely place to eat, the staff, some clearly youngsters taking their first job, were polite and efficient. No cauliflower cheese left, but didn’t detract from a 10/10 roast dinner!!

Brilliant night at The Elms as always. The young lady managing service worked incredibly hard, I felt exhausted watching her dash around all night and to top it all she did it with a massive smile on her face. Zoe who manages the kitchen checked in with dinners to ensure that customers were happy with the new menu and were enjoying their food. She really cares about the end product and that customers are happy. Molly was working behind the bar and was very welcoming as usual.

An excellent ribeye steak meal on a Monday evening that felt like the weekend as almost every table was taken and the atmosphere was great. The food and service is delicious as we are used to when dining at Blacklock and as ever the Madeira gravy is to die for!
