Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Stonehouse

Lovely afternoon tea. Food delicious and staff went out of there way to cater for our fussy group!

This is a beautiful restaurant set in a magnificent building. The food is very nice, we each had a starter and a main course. Everything is well presented and very clean. My son is a diagnosed coeliac and there was a bit of an issue with the gluten free beer being labelled as containing gluten but this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently and it was found to be a fault with the manufacturer, not the restaurant. The manager couldn't have been more helpful and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. We were very grateful for that. We look forward to visiting again.

We had a lovely afternoon tea in beautiful surroundings. The staff were efficient and were helpful and polite despite being busy.

Overall the food was good, limited choice for starter and dessert but a good selection for main. The service was a tad slow but that was fine with us, and finally the local wine from the Woodchester Valley vineyard was excellent!
