    Great experience as usual. Lovely surroundings, very friendly and efficient staff and the food was very good. The cheese soufflé isn’t to be missed - it’s divine. I just love everything about the Assembly House.

    Very fine 18th century hotel and restaurant on the banks of the River Bure. Beautiful setting, welcoming ambience, very relaxing. Food is first class and the staff attentive (but not too attentive!) and friendly. Highly recommended.

    Delicious afternoon tea in a relaxed atmosphere. Sandwiches weren’t finger sandwiches as expected, but were tasty all the same. Scones were delicious. We both took the top layer of cakes home as we were full by the time we got to the top! Polite and friendly staff.
