Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Mexico City

Amazing experience, great food, loved the ambiance, and the staff was very attentive. We went for my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint. The Mezcal tasting and small playe pairing were a great addition to our meal.

Drinks and things were on point. Definitely will come back!

La Vinería in Condesa quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is cozy, intimate, and inviting, making it the kind of place where you immediately want to settle in and enjoy the evening. Rojelio and Roberto were wonderful hosts, warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. The food was phenomenal from beginning to end. Their chile en nogada is easily one of the best we’ve had, while the ribeye in pepper gravy was rich, tender, and absolutely delicious. The sea bass was equally sublime, and we enjoyed a fantastic wine from JP that is exclusive to the restaurant. Everything felt carefully prepared and full of character, with each dish bringing something special to the table. And then came dessert: the flan was an outstanding finale that took an already excellent meal to another level. We also enjoyed some incredible teas afterward, wonderfully aromatic and intense, and perfect for finishing the evening. La Vinería truly impressed us from top to bottom, and with the combination of exceptional food, excellent service, beautiful ambience, and thoughtful details, we’re already looking forward to coming back.
