The London Chop House exceeded our expectations in every way. It's a beautiful space that includes so many gorgeous old school touches and helps elevate the entire dining experience. But that's honestly just gravy - the food from appetizers to salads to steaks to sides were all some of the best examples we've had, and we've dined at a number of high end steak houses over many years. My filet was cooked to the perfect medium, had zero fat or gristle (a true center cut, unlike what others pass off as such), and was seasoned exactly right. The service was also top notch - our waiter, James, was warm, welcoming, funny, and very helpful. All the staff with whom we interacted were genuine and clearly wanted diners to have a great meal. And on top of it there was wonderful music that only enhanced the whole experience. Finally, for what you get, from quality to ambiance to service, the prices are quite reasonable - we found the wine list especially had some great finds for a good value. Thanks to The London Chop House for a memorable night - we'll be back!

This is my favorite place in Detroit to go out for dinner! The restaurant is beautiful. A perfect balance between “sexy” and elegant. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and seated us right away. Our server, Matt, was exceptional. He was professional, personable, fun and knowledgeable. He gave great recommendations for food. The Wagyu ribeye was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had and he was right about the Wagyu pastrami.. My life had indeed been changed after that pastrami. Also a great recommendation to pair a homemade pasta with our steak as a side. I would put that pasta del bosco up against any past dish I’ve ever had. Right when we thought it couldn’t get better, we took a bite of the bread pudding for dessert. Possibly the best bite of the night was that homemade bread pudding. Outstanding experience from start to finish. The managers were friendly and stoped by our table to ensure everything was perfect. Thanks Kurt and Luis! Can’t wait to return again and again! This place is the best!!!

Always love the happy hour specials at shift. The food is decent. Service is great and I love the live music. Happy hour goes to seven, which is a win!
