Brown Dog Farm grows our apples, peaches, plums, cherries, asparagus, raspberries, horseradish, and honey. When you taste it in that salad or aioli, that’s local ingredients from the Midwest showing up.The cheese curds are golden. The seasonal menu changes with the harvest. And the craft cocktails? Balanced and built on fresh ingredients. We greet you by name, fix it fast if it’s off, and send you home with a note if it’s a big night.Lakeview and Ravenswood...it’s Midwest comfort food, served like it should be for lunch, brunch and dinner. To meet added costs from the city, we've added a voluntary 3% COB fee to our checks. We understand that rising costs affect our guests too, so we will remove this fee upon request. And we brought back paper menus. No passwords or pop-ups. Just food, drinks, and whoever you came with.

Our name, which means “little dream” in Italian, was chosen by partners Tony Priolo and Ciro Longobardo because it had always been their dream to open a restaurant of their own. “The restaurant fits our personal goal to get to the heart of Italian wine and food,” says executive chef Priolo. “You go to Italy for simple food prepared by hand with local ingredients. We wanted to bring that experience to Chicago.”When the weather allows, enjoy al fresco dining in the hidden garden patio-regularly recognized as one of the best in the city.Starting December 1, Monday-Thursday we'll open at 5 pm rather than 4 pm. You are welcome to bring a cake to celebrate. If you do, we will charge a $3 fee per person cake-cutting fee. Beginning January 1, all credit card transactions will be charged a 3% fee. Starting April 27th, Piccolo Sogno will be taking reservations through Resy. https://resy.com/cities/chicago-il/venues/piccolo-sogno

Our meal was outstanding, thanks to both the high-quality ingredients and the careful preparation. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and wholesome. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the celery risotto was phenomenal. The honey lavender crème brûlée may not have been the healthiest option, but it was absolutely amazing. I typically prefer fresh, healthy, ingredient-driven meals at home, but Farm Bar is exactly the kind of restaurant I look for when dining out.
