Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in La Conner

Cafe Brio has been our go to ever since we moved here in 2008 and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. Our dinner last night was a spur of the moment and we booked for 5:00 pm and asked for a booth - got one with no fuss. We both had the rib steak and one was perfect and the other had a lot of gristle - we left a small pile of it on the plate, we had the cartoni and the rabbit terrine as a starter - delicious, the pave and the jus with our steaks was also delicious. For our dessert we shared a tiramisu - It was tasty but a bit dry. All this being said we will definitely be returning to dine again as we so much enjoy the food, atmosphere and the very congenial staff.

We were celebrating a friends birthday - really appreciated the good humour of the host and server! Food was absolutely delicious and lots of it!

We were visiting Victoria and wanted to enjoy dinner at a nice restaurant. Based on the reviews, we booked a table at The Courtney Room and mentioned our dietary restrictions in advance. I must say they went above and beyond our expectations! From the moment we were seated, the staff acknowledged our dietary requirements, explained the ingredients in each dish, and made adjustments wherever needed to accommodate us. The entire team was exceptionally friendly, polite, and hospitable. The food was outstanding, and the ambience was equally impressive. Definitely a five-star experience! We will certainly be returning on our next visit to Victoria. A big thank you to the entire team at The Courtney Room for making our evening so enjoyable!

Spent our 6th year anniversary here. It's a nice casual place but still classy. Had the Seattle restaurant Week menu and it did not disappoint. That Wagyu Filet Mignon is truly something special. The ribs were tender and juicy. Everything was amazing! I always loved pear arugula salad and they're the only restaurant I've found them in. I usually make it or have it once a year at this nice restaurant in Kelowna and now I know where to get it close by. I thought we were getting some freebie for our anniversary but didn't but that's okay. Hahaha! That was just my wishful thinking. Lol! This is a great place, amazing service, beautiful interiors, absolutely delicious food. Definitely go and try them. I'm already planning my next visit.

This is one the best restaurants in WA state, have been a dozen times and it gets better every time. I have ordered almost everything and it’s all tastes so good and the portions are nice and large. I cannot wait to come back, and special shoutout to our server Charlie for being absolutely perfect!!
