    One of the best finds in Pasadena. Staff was marvelous and treated us like old friends - even though it was our first time!!! Especially our server, Morgan D. The setting is exquisite on the roof of the AC Hotel with views of the San Gabriel Mountains, the wonderful architecture of Pasadena and the miraculous sunset. (Plenty of umbrellas to block the sun with a busy manager making adjustments as the sun moves). Food options are amazing. We decided on small plates. The best meatballs (3) we've ever had in an incredibly tasty sauce. A warm artichoke dip with warmed blue corn chips. Brussels sprouts in a pomegranate vinaigrette that was incredible. Tostones (plaintains) with guacamole and black beans with perfect spicing to give them both a great kick. Plenty of food for 3 people For dessert we had a wonderful lemon cake that tasted straight out of Italy. And if you don't drink they offer 2 great mocktails. One with beet juice and raspberry which hit the taste buds perfectly. Plus, it's only 2 minutes from the Pasadena Playhouse.

    Went after researching many restaurants for months and celebrated my birthday with the idea of hosting an engagement party for our daughter & future SIL to be: simply a marvelous experience! An oasis amongst the skyscrapers with a park like setting olive trees and great decor, cool contemporary vibe & ambiance! Genuine Italian cuisine reminiscent of Umbria & Lazio regions; just transportive & fabulous!

    Very easy to get reservations for NYE but you have to pay $30 deposit per person. Food was okay, but you come here for the views. I’m glad it wasn’t too crowded during NYE. Although it was raining, we could still see fireworks. The music was nice and we got hats, vuluzeulas, and complimentary glasses champagne. Parking is validated. Overall a nice experience for NYE minus the crowds.
