Best Seasonal Restaurants in Turgis Green

We had the beef pie for two which was excellent and couldn’t manage either a starter or a dessert! Only one minor gripe, we’ve always been given tap water when asked if we wanted still, but this time got a bottle of branded water.

The menu is excellent and food is lovely. You could be anywhere in the Mediterranean when dining here as the decor is fabulous. Friendly staff and very efficient.

We’ve been coming here for over 15 years and have never had anything less than an excellent experience. The menu is diverse and interesting, the food is always fresh and delicious and there’s a wide choice of drinks with particularly interesting cocktails. The service is always great and there is a lovely ambiance at the restaurant. I’m always very happy to suggest or recommend LSB when dining in Reading.

Had a lovely weekday meal with friends sitting outside taking advantage of the lovely weather. Host and staff are friendly. Food was excellent. We have used this pub over 42 years and this is the best it has ever been for food. Well cooked and hot.

Had a wonderful, quiet lunch with daughter today at Wild Carrot. Elena was so lovely and friendly. Also Callum who brought over our bread was just charming. Food was great also!
