Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf, underneath the train tracks of the North Dock. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's). Bookings and Walk-Ins available.

The core of ROKA's cuisine is the robata grill, inspired by the fishermen of Japan's northern coastal waters who traditionally grilled their catch over charcoal on their boats and shared it using their oars.ROKA Charlotte Street opened in 2004, followed by ROKA Canary Wharf in 2009, ROKA Mayfair in February 2014, and ROKA Aldwych in October 2014.

Roe is a modern and spacious restaurant in the heart of Canary Wharf from the trio behind the critically-acclaimed sister restaurant Fallow St James’s and FOWL.The extensive a la carte menu is divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. As well as championing modest, British ingredients, Roe’s dishes showcase underused and underappreciated produce. Rare breed meats and carefully sourced fish from the British Isles are central to the menu, as well as regenerative crops like Wildfarmed native grain.

It was my first visit to Fumiko, hornchurch on my birthday and what to say, it was an experience of a lifetime. We were welcomed and given an unparalleled hospitality which is rare and unheard of in the UK. The ambience was top class. Decor was keeping the Japanese cherry blossom in mind. Beautiful shades of pink, and white and grey, very aesthetic. Coming to the food, it was my best Japanese food ever in UK. The chef Imran was kind enough to take us through the menu and help us order the best of his creations. The starters were mouth watering and also the sushi platter was beyond comparison. All the staff were very friendly and gave us a wonderful experience. It was a perfect Japanese fine dining experience where time flew slowly and we soaked into it completely. My friends were pleased and I can tell I spent one of the best bday lunch ever. Thank you Fumiko for everything. Will love to come back again and again and recommend UK people to definitely not miss this place.
