Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the Parisian on Vine building (previously City Club) , at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history.     We had a late (7:30p) reservation for Mother's Day. In spite of being almost closing time, the food was well-prepared and quickly served. Also, the service was very attentive and friendly. We had a GREAT dining experience and will definitely be back!

    Excellent food in a nice setting in old Milford. If you’re looking for a change of pace for the old routine this is it. Highly recommend the Brie appetizer and the wine flight.

    The food my wife and I ordered was excellent. We tried a slice of banana pudding cheesecake, and my wife absolutely raved about it while I managed to sneak a couple of bites myself. It was a really nice Sunday spent relaxing, chatting, and enjoying good food. We both ordered the Laveau Cajun Pasta Alfredo. My wife had hers with salmon, and I had mine with steak tips made from filet mignon. The pasta was outstanding and has quickly become one of my favorites around town. This place definitely impressed me. Next time, we plan to check out the rooftop bar and order more of the drinks they offer.
