Tapas Barcelona is considered the top restaurant in Evanston for good reason. The food is excellent and the service is immaculate. The staff is fun, warm and so on top of things. There are so many great options on the menu, and the flavors are incredible. The ambiance is amazing.

Gumrai Thai in Arlington Heights was such a pleasant surprise. I am not usually the biggest fan of Thai food, but everything here was delicious and I would definitely come back. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao, Basil Fried Rice, Panang Curry, and Thai Iced Tea. Every dish was super flavorful and fresh. We asked for everything spicy and it actually had a real kick which I loved. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and they checked on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying everything. The service made the experience even better and the food came out hot and fast. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and it has a cozy neighborhood feel. Prices were reasonable and the portions were great. I highly recommend trying this spot if you are in the area or if you love Thai food or spicy food.
