- BBrittanyMinneapolis - St. Paul •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI was swept away for my 40th birthday to California to spend long weekend going to Vanderpump restaurants, living out a dream of mine. I had scheduled brunch on Sunday June 7th at 12:00 PM. It jus so happened to be pride weekend. Our server (I hate that i don't know his name), he was absolutely AMAZING! Very attentive, friendly, & fun! We were sitting in the far back "outside" on the lefthand side at a table for two against the wall. Much to my surprise, the cast of The Valley was there which was a must added bonus. They were all so lovely and friendly. They were so attentive to everyone that came and talked to them. Tom Toms' atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. We had the pepperoni flat bread pizza and boy, that was amazing! I love that they had regular beer (Coors Light) as a girl from the Midwest, it was nice to have something I was used to. I purchased Pride Tom Tom shirts and Tom Schwartz was so kind to sign them for me. Overall, the whole experience was a dream come true. What a nice guy - we enjoyed chatting with him! They also brought us a birthday dessert with a fun candle for our daughter. We’ll be back!More infoDella Terra$$$$• Italian• Beverly / Fairfax / La Brea / Third St.•4.7

- FFrankLos Angeles •19 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 2, 2026One must be prepared for a LOT of energy and people. This location had its fun challenges, like not finding the parking lot driveway for the first time as one may drive by it if not familiar with its location. Parking was valeted in a narrow driveway toward the back. Be prepared to pay $8 for parking after your meal, with no validation. Which I found interesting. Upon entering the restaurant, there were elbow-to-elbow patrons throughout the establishment at 6 pm on a Monday. Wow ! Keep in mind .. if you plan on getting the Teppan Grill Experience, reservations are HIGHLY recommended. The experience, if you've never been to a Teppan grill restaurant .. is a one chef dinner show as he cooks your food on a scorching hot grill right in front of you performing culinary antics of the onion volcano, spatula egg twirls, food-to-patron shrimp tosses, and hat catches using eggs, just to name a few. Prepare yourself for loud clanking spatulas and fork work and flashing lights while food is tossed around just a couple feet in front of you. Once you purchase a course dinner, it is served continuously until the end of the show. The menu is vast and the usual "show" dinners are 5 to 6 courses. We were seated at a full 8 patron grill, while seating is open and usually depends on how big or small they assemble all the parties. Meals consist of the usual basics like Chicken, Shrimp, Lobster, different quality cuts of steak, rice, salad, soup, etc. The food quality here is of an immensely high calibre. The freshness, tenderness, seasoning, and temperature of the food is spot-on ! I have patronized many other Teppan grill restaurants, but pale in comparison. Benihanas is the benchmark of all the Teppan Grill restaurants / experiences and IS the Platinum Standard. Everyone is there to have a great time and witness a memorable culinary wonder! It is also widely popular for birthdays, as well.More infoBenihana - Encino, CA$$$$• Japanese• Encino•4.3
- GGaryLos Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined on May 31, 2026La Cava has always been a great Italian restaurant, but even greater now. Armando, the owner, has completely remodeled the interior making it warm, cozy and inviting. The tables are spaced nicely and the whole decor is bright. The food is wonderful and the menu has expanded with many new dishes and the prices are great for any budget. Stop in and enjoy!!More infoLa Cava$$$$• Italian• Sherman Oaks•4.7
