Best Historic Restaurants in Elysian Valley

Always a great time. It was really good for a dinner with friends and the ambiance and space are wonderful. Food — from the branzino to duck to pork chops to chocolate soufflé — were very well prepared and presented.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. All of the food, from appetizers to dessert, was perfectly prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is amazing, like stepping back in time. The service was impeccable as well. I couldn't ask for a better evening. My only regret is I live 400 miles away and can only visit when in town. I can't wait to return.

This was my first visit to "The Tam", and I was alone so sat at the bar. The staff was old-school (in the best way!), friendly, and the service was quick and professional. I chose the brisket platter, and if there is tastier and more tender brisket anywhere on this planet, then I want to eat there too. It came with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, and they were both wonderful. Glad I came, it was all just next-level~ Long live The Tam!

Can’t beat Osteria Mamma. A wonderful neighborhood feel with great food, excellent service and friendly staff. This has become one of our “go to” reliable restaurants when we want genuine Italian cooking in a cozy ambiance.
