Built circa 1820 as a grist mill, The Old Mill Inn is a newly-renovated historic, waterfront, adults-only (18 years+) bar and restaurant on Mattituck Creek, located on the North Fork of Long Island.     We’ve been dining at Union League since our daughter was a student at Yale, and over the years we’ve enjoyed many memorable evenings there. Last night’s dinner was a reminder that the Union League continues to uphold its longstanding tradition of excellence.

    Cannot say enough about the whole experience, from the moment we were greeted at the door. Staff was supremely accommodating regarding change in reservation/seating time. Our server Joe was fantastic. Service was prompt and efficient. Now to the menu- inventive takes on classics. Burger was just right and fries were best I have had. There was only one dessert option, but it was enjoyed by the whole party (key lime pie). Try a cocktail, the Spring Carrot Sour was delicious! Great friendly vibe with a beautiful view. Highly recommend! Will be back soon I hope!!

    Lovely meal on a quiet night. Two apps (asparagus, eggplant), recommended by our server, were excellent. We shared the Red Snapper which was fantastic. Service was wonderful.

    What a fabulous 250th celebration at The Griswold! Delicious food and excellent service. The potato pancakes were a great starter. The madeira chicken and pasta special were delicious too!
