Best Historic Restaurants in North Salem

Once again we had the most delicious dinner here! The gnocchi was outstanding! Such a hidden gem that we come back to as much as we can. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

10/10 experience at Moli in Greenwich! The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were just as amazing! JP was our server, and he was absolutely wonderful. Very attentive, friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Everything from the food to the drinks and the service was top-tier. JP definitely helped make our dining experience even better. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐️🥂

We have loved this place for many years, and returned recently after not having been in a while. The management seems to have heard some concerns we had when we were last here - e.g., $45 for a glass of champagne?!, $40 for a cheeseburger?!, too many servers and not enough service - and made some good changes. Restaurants in New Canaan are expensive, so the prices here are not low by any means, but we thought everything was delicious and the service was very good. The wine list has some very good values. We ate in the bar, which is a much cozier atmosphere than the main dining room, even though there was live music (small space, a little bit too loud). The menu was prix fixe, with three choices for each of appetizer, main course, and dessert - at $80/person, not cheap, but all very tasty perfectly cooked. I recommend the Roger Sherman, and will return again and again.

The atmosphere is quaint and welcoming. The staff is wonderful. We had potato croquettes and the crab/lobster cake as starters. Both were wonderful. The potatoes had black truffle. I ordered the beef wellington which was phenomenal and my wife had the short ribs that were cooked perfectly. We shared a creme brulee for dessert. We will definitely be going back.
