Best Historic Restaurants in Castro Valley

I really love this place. The menu is always interesting and changing. I’ve eaten here 4 times, and always look forward to the deviled eggs and whatever soup they have for the night. Their specialty cocktails are pricey, and hit or miss for me. Make sure to designate you want a table, which I prefer over a sofa or the bar.

What a fantastic experience from start to finish! Food was excellent as was the service. We will be back for sure in the future.

Casa Orinda is always wonderful! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is terrific and the ambiance fun!

This was my fourth visit to Elia. I had dinner at both the Pleasanton and Walnut Creek locations. The food, service, and ambiance was absolutely amazing. The experience reminded me of having dinner with friends in Greece on restaurant terraces overlooking the Aegean Sea. Equally important was our server who welcomed us with a genuine smile and warmth that made my dinner companion and I feel like VIP’s throughout our dinner experience. It’s Greek haute cuisine at it’s finest. By the end of our meals, I was practically ready to start dancing Zorba with my fellow diners. As they say in Greece, I sagapo this wonderful restaurant that goes above and beyond. Truly outstanding.
