We had an exceptional meal, everything from the food to the service was on point.

Absolutely fantastic food, fresh ingredients and very flavoursome - we honestly could not speak higher of the quality of food we had. We ordered the platter for two and there was ample for us both. The staff, the ambience and atmosphere was all top notch. It’s not often I eat out and feel it’s been a great success but this certainly was and I will be returning for sure. Even to the detail of the door being opened on entry and exit was a lovely touch.

Always a wonderful experience. Food of high quality although one could argue a little on the high end price wise for the main courses….even when sharing. That said, when the restaurant is full it is a testament to the quality. Vibrant atmosphere although perhaps a tad loud when sitting directly under the speakers. Menu / wine list always offers something slightly different to the norm allowing it to stand out from the crowd. Lovely evening.

Had a really lovely lunch yesterday at Trio in Saffron Walden. We took a friend out for a relaxed afternoon, and it proved the perfect setting. The ambience was warm and stylish, and the service was excellent — attentive, friendly and well judged throughout. We started with excellent cocktails, then enjoyed a superb main course selection: calamari, parmigiana and spaghetti carbonara, all beautifully prepared and full of flavour. A couple of bowls of mixed salad completed what turned into a very generous meal. By the end we were too satisfied for dessert, so finished instead with very good coffees after spending several happy hours in a convivial atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, and somewhere we’d be very happy to return to.

You will love it here! My family and I celebrated my daughter's birthday on Saturday. Everything was fabulous: venue, ambience, staff friendliness, service (We had a great waiter, very helpful. Think his name was Hassan?), food & live music entertainment. The price was a good reflection of what we got. Would definitely go again. The restaurant was fully booked so book in advance if you want to try it.
