We practically had the place to ourselves 5-6:30 on a Thursday— farmers market day in Exeter. Cannot understand why. It is a high end place, to be sure, but the food was delicious, the ambiance lovely, and the service top notch. Unique offerings for a vegetarian, and a US-focused wine list. Wish i lived closer to come more often.
We had a short wait when we arrived. The hostess was friendly. Our server, Elliot, was great. Always checking in on us, very polite young man. It was a great evening!
Great historic restaurant in downtown Boston food was outstanding and our Server [ I can’t recall her name] was very attentive and friendly. A must visit when in Boston.
We visited Louie’s on the opening night of Portsmouth’s Restaurant Week and enjoyed a wonderful three-course dinner for $52 per person.
I started with my favorite—a perfectly prepared Manhattan—while my wife enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. For our starters, I chose the pasta and she opted for the salad. We shared both and enjoyed every bite. My hake entrée and her pork were equally delicious.
Lovely desserts rounded out a meal that felt like a special treat. We’ll be returning soon!
Our favorite Italian spot. Top quality food, reasonably priced. Always a good vibe with excellent service from a good crew that seems to stay the same. Food is always phenomenal, piping hot and tasty and drinks are great. Our fav is the chicken parm (get it with vodka sauce) For first timers just pay attention to the time limits on tables as they turn them fast.
The Puddle Dock is a great place to visit for any occasion. The food and the service are wonderful. It is a lovely atmosphere. We love taking friends from out of town here. Highly recommended!
Delicious food, generous portions. Obviously prepared by skilled chefs. Service was top-notch. Wine selections were reasonably priced and paired well with the food. Loved the intimate setting. Cozy but still private enough. We’ll be back to try more offerings.
