Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Hillside, Chicago / Illinois

Phenomenal experience! A must do when in Chicago!!

We reserved lunch and when we arrived a large group had reserved the main room. As a result, we were seated in a windowless side room. But when I asked about sitting outside, they found a spot on a side balcony that was great. It was a hot day, but the ceiling fans were very helpful. The food was great. We had fish and chips and the sliders which were fine. The sliders looked a little lonely on the plate--a few fries included with sandwiches would be nice. But all the food was fine. We shared a chocolate lava cake. It was a typical chocolate dessert. Who wouldn't like it? We were meeting a friend and conversation, and we were not rushed after our meal. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

Great service from our waitress. She was very quick to get drinks for our party of 8. Was on point and cleaned up throughout the service. Was extremely kind to our party as well. Food was good and easy to share! Drinks tasted great and bottle of champagne was a good price.

Sat at the bar, per our request, and enjoyed looking at all the interesting accessories behind the bar. Went for breakfast and the food was great. Many basic items on the menu but several unique. Must try the plate size hash browns.

Party of 3 all had the filet dinner. Excellent value for the money. One in our party suggested vegetables be cooked a little more. Would highly recommend this entree.
