Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Waterbury, Connecticut

We enjoyed the diverse and unique menu very much. We loved our cocktails. There we twists on some classic French cuisine dishes on the menu and there was a good use of seasonal vegetables. Portion sizes were nice to share or enjoy as an individual. We were a party of 5, so we shared quite a bit. Decor had some Art Deco influence and was comfortable. Suggestions would be to have a depth of music for ambiance, more of a surround sound. Also, seating seemed tighter than necessary. If you are only going to turn 30 guests in a night, space the tables out more. Staff were pleasant and professional, but did seem a bit stressed. 3 hours was longer than expected for the meal. We had 4 courses. Staff were very responsive to my communications and when I requested wine for the 2nd course instead of the 3rd, it was not an issue. Looking forward to returning on a date with my husband. We traveled 30 minutes to enjoy this experience. Loved the pâtes de friut at the end of the meal.

Attended the Mother’s Day afternoon tea and my mom and I had the best time! We both have allergies and they were very accommodating. Definitely a worthwhile way to spend an afternoon.

Restaurant is housed in quaint old two story house. Charming New England ambiance. Delicious food, wine and dessert. Waitress was charming and sweet.

Loved the wine dinner with Scar of the Sea & Lady of the Sunshine! The wine and food pairing were fantastic, and the staff was warm and accommodating.
