Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Hillcrest, San Diego

Third time here and it’s been great every time. What a jewel this place is. Peaceful atmosphere, fantastic food and wine list. They really take pride in putting out beautifully made dishes. Highly recommend.

Jeremy!!! What a GREAT waiter! We had a blast and food was deliciously presented. PokeBowls, Wings, Tacos and Roast Beef Dip! Some great Beers. Sampled a cucumber one that I loved! We will be back!

From the moment we arrived, the spectacular views had us thinking, "this is going to be great" — and the evening delivered on every front. The food was excellent. I ordered the fresh catch (swordfish) which was perfectly prepared, and my husband tried the yellowtail fish sandwich — a fish neither of us had ever had before. We were both impressed. We ended the meal with the Brookie dessert, which was absolutely delicious. For drinks, my espresso martini was outstanding. The featured cocktail was just okay, but that's a minor note in an otherwise great evening. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive — exactly the right balance. The standout moment of the night, though, was when a blanket was offered for my legs on what had turned into a cool evening. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and truly elevates the experience. Highly recommend — this place thinks of everything!
