    A wonderful dining experience! Love the option for chef’s tasting or ordering à la carte off the menu. The servers are very friendly and accommodating, atmosphere is lovely. We sat at the bar this time and Isael was great! Last time we sat at the counter and enjoyed watching the magic in the kitchen. We come here for special occasions as the meals can be expensive (to be fair we had 4 appetizers for 2 of us and then had entrees and dessert…), but the food is always high quality and the plates are expertly executed. Highly recommend!!

    Can't say enough great things about the dining experience at Shipwright's. Staff, beverages, tasting menu, all incredible and right here in Mystic CT. James Beard finalist for a reason. Best dining experience my wife and I have had in a long time - prix fixe had oysters, flounder crudo, scallops, steak and wonderful dessert - but those are just the foundational pieces the way they were integrated with supporting elements and presented really made us appreciate the artisan and his supporting cast. Don't miss it if you are looking for a culinary experience.
