Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Mission District

My girlfriend and I come here for our anniversary, this year the third! We love the food, the service and the style of the place, and the wine list is great! We love that A16 is now a apart of our lives!

Zuni never disappoints - the chicken, the Caesar, espresso granita, shoestring fries are my stand-bys. Also the hamburger, polenta, fish and more. The vibe in that room is always the BEST. SF institution… <3

We had a wonderful dinner at RT Bistro for my husband's birthday. The food was amazing and definitely memorable - we loved everything we ordered! The staff also made my husband feel extra special wishing him a happy birthday and complimentary desserts with a candle. Upon arrival on time for our reservation, we had to wait a bit to be seated due to other tables finishing up, but the staff was communicative and even offered us a glass of champagne while we waited which was much appreciated! The space is beautiful but small - so book ahead! Totally worth it. In a city with tons amazing food options, I'm happy to report that we will definitely be back! Thank you!

I cannot express how extrodinary and beautiful our experience at Taksim was. We celebrated my Mother's 70th birthday as a surprise party with a party of 12. The staff were SO accommodating in both the preparation as well as the service. Our waiter helped me recommend the exact perfect amount of food (we all shared family style a variety from the ala carte menu). The sommelier picked the perfect wine and bubbly that were completely reasonable prices. We brought a cake and forgot the candles which they had and cut without any questions. Timing was perfect, food was 11/10 delicious, we had such an extraordinary time. Certainly my new favorite restaurant in SF.
