Fabulous night at Rising Sun Workshop, live jazz band, great ambiance and delicious food. We shared the sashimi, squid salad, chicken yakitori and a light ramen. Squid was so tender, everything was prepared with care and so much flavour. Staff super friendly, on a busy night.

First time visitor. 4 of us. It’s second storey with a side street entrance. The decor was great. The vibe was great. We had a booth with heaps of room. Staff were very helpful and knowledgable. Our food (Ramen) was excellent. Some Sake was a top accompaniment too. Definitely recommend here for Japanese

If you’re looking for a lovely place to enjoy delicious handmade pasta, just like in Italy, this is the perfect spot! 🇮🇹❤️ We had the Ragù Napoletano, and OMG… I wanted to lick the plate at the end!!! 😂 Absolutely delicious! The service was so friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was fantastic, and we even ended up having a laugh with the lovely people at the table next to us! Thank you, Favola team! It was such a pleasure dining with you. You’ll definitely see us again soon! 🍝💕

A gem of a place. Lovely service and inspired plates all sparkling with a gelato of one form or another. Not since the day I first ate Heston’s bacon and egg ice cream have I been so impressed.

A delightful experience. Loved relaxing under the colonnades watching the people go by in Martin Place. Service warm and professional - even though one of my party was delayed, we never felt hurried . Shared a number of dishes - all delicious, especially loved the different sauces. A little birthday sweet treat was much appreciated. My first time here, and will definitely be back again.

After seeing many viral posts of this place I had to try the marinated salmon and prawn dish, I was a little worried the soy marinade would be spicy for my friend but thankfully it was not. The green sauce to pour on top is spicy but so so good because I love spicy food. I’m glad we both could experience it, definitely going back for that dish alone!
