Le bâtiment à lui seul vaut le détour! La nourriture était excellente. Les portions sont généreuses et valent largement le prix. Le service est cordial. Il faut s'attendre à un bon niveau de bruit: les conversations des longues tables prennent beaucoup de place, ce qui donne aussi un certain charme à l'endroit.

This was our second time at the Fraunces Tavern and this time we brought a couple friends with us. We love the history of the building, but this was not the best dining experience. We were seated at a corner table near the fireplace and we had to deal with an electrical cord that ran under our table to a light shining on the picture over the fireplace. I'm glad we didn't get tangled in it when leaving. On top of that, several tables that were seated well after us and ordered their food after us, received their food well ahead of us. This is never acceptable. Was it the server's fault or the kitchen? We'll never know. Feel free to share this with Fraunces Tavern management. We may or may not be back again given this experience.

What an amazing place , food was great nice size portions, great ambience, wonderful service. We went upstairs to the museum so much history, my kids loved it

Our group of five adults and two kids (ages 11 and 9) enjoyed a hearty meal on a Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious, the beer was cold and the service was prompt. Every table was full so the atmosphere was lively, as you would expect in an 18th century tavern. The museum upstairs is well worth a visit.
