Booked 13 times todayI have been here before and this time I took my mother on a Tuesday afternoon (no small feat). I found the service and the food to be exceptional and she had a lovely time as did I! I work nearby and there are many choices around however I feel that the Central Bar and Restaurant delivered exactly what we hoped for and did indeed spend a lovely afternoon. The crab cakes were wonderful and reminded me of what restaurants were like in New York and London. If you are considering dining here or spending time with friends please do! On a side note a lovely family owns this place and take pride in what they do. How refreshing not to be in a chain restaurant without a soul. -Greg More

Very disappointed in the food. Ordered the grilled octopus which, if done correctly, is spectacular. This was not. Octopus should be soaked (best in cork water) to reduce toughness. It was like leather. I returned it and order the halibut ceviche. Good, but not outstanding. However, the crab bisque and service were outstanding! More
