We enjoyed Garre Cafe so much! The garlic edamame was the perfect starter. The Tres Rouge is a delicious red - and only $10 a glass! And our flatbreads were wonderful. Our servers were sweet and attentive.

Rosee was our server and was wonderful as always. This location is between family on the Peninsula and Manteca so we are members and have made this our go to play to celebrate Birthdays.

Garre Cafe was a wonderful place for a meal. Staff was attentive & knowledgeable. Ambience is relaxing and pleasant. We especially enjoyed the salmon & gnocchi. Thank you for a great experience!

Garre is one of the few upscale restaurants in Livermore and is an excellent lunch venue for business lunches. With their location right in rolling hills and vineyards, the view outside is very nice and the interior is very pleasant too. The food is always excellent and a cut above most other lunch places. The starter bread is freshly made and the oil and vinegar at each table are a nice complement. I highly recommend the Blackened Salmon Sandwich, Turkey Reuben, or Tri-Tip Sandwich, all with their very flavorful Tomato Bisque. If you want something a little more upscale, the Seafood Pasta, Jambalaya, or Lobster/Shrimp Ravioli are also excellent. And you can pair any of these with their sparkling or other fine wines.

Very disappointing experience. We made reservations several days in advance, only to learn 15 minutes after ordering that a planned PG&E power outage meant they could only serve salads. We were never notified beforehand, which was frustrating and unprofessional. To make matters worse, we asked for water several times and never received it. Poor communication and disappointing service, especially when entertaining guests. They should’ve at least done something kind to make up for all of that. Unfortunately, we will not be back.
