Please note, our Sunday Roast is not available after 5pm.
Please note, unfortunately Hawksmoor Knightsbridge is not wheelchair accessible.
THE BEST steaks in London.
Everybody in my party of 3 orders their steaks blue, and only one was sent back for being slightly overcooked - but Hawksmoor was very apologetic and cooked another one right away.
The staff are friendly and relaxed, and the service is great.
It was outstanding thank you so much will be back soon
It was good however I have eaten at the Air Street branch and the roasts there seem to be a lot better. The beef was nice but quite fatty and not as melt in the mouth as the one I remembered at Air Street.
I’ve been wanting to go hawkesmoor for some time but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. The fillet beef that we had was SO salty. I haven’t had steak that salty in a very long time! The creamed spinach was nice but nothing to write home about. Overall, there’s far better steak restaurants around.
I like Hawksmoor Knightsbridge tremendously and was a founder visitor and continuing dinner there. Steaks are very good, creamed spinach and chips too, wine list is extensive and has numerous bottles and glasses I want to order. Starters also good.
It does bug me that almost every time I visit, they steer us to the worst table by the billing/cutlery desk until I ask to be seated elsewhere. They also do that to a number of other diners I see coming in who similarly react by asking to move.
Normally I just give 5 stars but somehow I’ve docked one on this occasion.
Fantastic steak and great service as always would highly recommend.
Delicious food, excellent service. Great for treating someone.
The brought the steaks cold and had to send them back
Fabulous first time at this wonderful institution, hidden away it felt like a private club. Outstanding, many thanks!
To me, on my 52nd wedding anniversary, I felt a shared experience with staff to make this a very special dinner. Their collective attention to detail and service made it an evening to remember for my wife and I...
Great meal. However, no lobster was available on the evening.
Great food and ambience. Our waitress was wonderful. One of our favorite places to eat at when visiting London
Nice place. Good food, but very expensive. Poor selection of vegetables.
Not really a complaint because the Sunday Roast is A LOT of food but I have been before where the beef portion was quite a bit larger. The Service & Atmosphere are superb.
Last time I loved it, but this time disappointing. Sunday roast and other food was not that good than before, the waiter wasn’t respondive and not friendly. I only ordered still water but they opened 2 bottles without asking, even though 1 bottle is enough for us. The food price is expensive and I think the service should improve to deserve that much.
Chateaubriand for two was tough and chewy, awful, can’t believe it was a tenderloin. Sides were delicious. Service slow. Ordered second bottle of wine and didn’t show up until we were ready for the check. Their loss.
I know I have said I would recommend Hawksmoor which I would but not for a roast Sunday lunch. We enjoyed our crab starter and our puds but the main course was we felt below standard. We both had two very thick lumps of meat which were neither flavourful or enticing to look at . The Yorkshire pudding was very large and lacked flavour. The cauliflower cheese was dry and uninteresting. My partner asked due to an onion allergy for a gravy without onions which apparently was not possible.
On the plus side your waiting staff was excellent as it has always been. We have always enjoyed the food at Air street in the evening after work. This was our first visit to Knightbridge and we will come again just not for Sunday lunch.
I’ve emailed Hawksmoor to express my gratitude, but everything was simply perfect. Thank you so much.
The chef was so nice to give an extra steak for free as the first one he cooked "wasn't big enough", and a waitress told me about this as she brought it.
We made a late booking for a pre-theatre dinner and had a wonderful meal. The mussels were the best I've ever tasted - succulent, soft and tasty with just the right amount of chilli in the sauce. Then came ribeye steak which did not disappoint either, a perfectly cooked medium.
Amazing food, amazing service. Everything we ordered was delicious and can’t wait to visit again.
lovely restaurant based underground. always a pleasure to have dinner at this restaurant. the meat is succulent as ever with a lovely ambience. very lively place with great service. would defo recommend
Delicious steak, friendly staff, great service. Perfect night!!
Great waitress, great manager who called to check on a friend who wasn't feeling well on that day.
Great place, great people.
Steak, fish and wine was delicious! The service was relaxed and suited our evening as it was a birthday so didn’t want to be rushed!
Best in town - eat less meat but when you do, do it at Hawksmoor, you won't be disappointed.
Had another fab Sunday lunch at Hawksmoor .. staff are some of the best in London .. food, as always was fantastic - and the wine recommendations spot on
Love the place and the team ..thank you
Hi, unfortunately the Fillet steak I had was not great, quite tough, particularly on one side! The side of mushrooms was also not inspiring, chips were ok. I just think for £36 a steak it should have been exceptional :(
Very nice food! We had the set menu and it was delicious! Our waiter was very friendly and funny- very good service. A big variety of wine to choose from. It was a very nice meal. Will come back!
Been wanting to go here for ages however, disappointed with how over priced it is for what it is... extremely casual and food was below average. Definitely not what I was expecting.
The food was exceptional and reasonably priced, the service was slow as an hour and 15 had gone before we received our food! Overall very good but service was lacking somewhat!
Always good. Sometimes wait a little but it’s all worth it
Service was amazing. Our triple cooked chips was soggy and mushy the first time round and speaking to one of the staff solved it.
Steak was okay (chateaubriand), no wow-factor.
The restaurant is just superb, just what you would expect, amazing food, excellent service and great ambience.
We have dined at Hawksmoor before at Covent Garden but
Not the Knightsbridge venue, the restaurant was say half full, there was 8 of us, 6 adults, 2 children, we sat down and the waitress took the drinks order, 2 of them were wrong, we all ordered from the menu, some from the menu, plus some off the boards. However I ordered the 550g sirloin medium after cutting into it and eating small bits it looked more like medium rare so I
Sent it back. It came back out cooked medium and they replaced the chips etc. Then when we ordered the desserts 2 of them were wrong. I just think for what was a £500 plus bill the service could of been better.
Fantastic Sunday lunch, whole experience was faultless. From the quality of the food, to the comfort and service. You cannot go wrong with Hawksmoor!
Chateaubriand was very tasty, although I would have expected it to be more tender. Great desserts and friendly service.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at the restaurant, the food was amazing it’s a shame that the show after was nit as good!
