HG Sply- our go to restaurant when we leave our tiny little town. The seasoning used for the food is so delicious. Have never had a dish there I did not love. And the drinks are slightly different than at “regular” restaurants, but very refreshing. I have and will continue to recommend this place to many people!
We love coming to HG just to talk, the food is great!! (:
Outstanding service, amazing food, GREAT music!
We arrived 30 minuets early. The hostess said our table wasn’t ready. So we just waited by the door. However, she pushed together two tables that had been empty since we arrived and that irritated me very much. I understand we were early but why seat us at tables that were completely unused for 30 minuets??? Probably won’t be going back.
Food was great as always. The food took way longer than it should and our server wasn’t very attentive to our table. Won’t be going back to the Dallas location anytime soon.
Everything about HG was fantastic! It was only when the workout center next door opened and blasted their music did we decide to leave. It was too much!
Meddlesome moth lives up to the hype. The food is priced well, the atmosphere is conducive to good conversation with friends, and the service is what you’d expect. They crushed the clam chowder which is such a difficult thing to do well. The gyro and salad portions are also on point, especially given the pricing. I would recommend visiting.
The food is always good, but the ambiance is nonexistent and the noise level inside is bad. This trip our service was adequate, but we had to seek out the waitress a couple of times.
Favorite place to go. I’m vegan
Wonderful experience, although my favorite part was my date, the food and drinks were excellent.
My companion and I were there for Sunday Brunch and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The wait staff was attentive, responsive, friendly and efficient.
I would highly recommend HG Supply Co for Brunch!
Wonderful as always. We had the bison chili. Perfect for the weather and a favorite of mine. We ordered wine they didn’t have in stock, but the sommelier found a wine that was as good, but less expensive. This place is one of my favorite spots in Dallas.
The highlight was their hospitality..friendly as well as professional! Also, they have a healthy & creative menu with delicious food & fast service upon request.
This place is so cute, it’s in such a cute area and has great ambiance, and their happy hour deals are really good! They served us a special “sunset toast” cocktail and it was delicious.
Awesome spot. Amazing house-infused cocktails! Would recommend for any occasion.
We specifically chose this restaurant because they had previously taken great care in their food preparation for a diner in our party that has severe anaphylactic food allergies. This time again did not disappoint. The anaphylactic food allergies they were able to accommodate are to egg, milk, peanuts and tree nuts- foods containing or coming into contact with these allergens. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and diligent. There were several safe food options available on the menu - a treat for someone avoiding many common foods. We would highly recommend this establishment and will be going back often.
It was good but it's quite expensive for what it is. Portion sizes for different items can be small and they skimp on cheap items like fries when they shouldn't.
The setting was very noisy. The food was very good.
So good! We got our food so fast
Founds this gem and will be back. Amazing vegan options and at the same time, the short rib appetizer you don’t want to pass on (for meat eaters). Beer selection was wonderful and the meal pace was perfect. There was no rush to get us out and flip the table.
Our waitress was very accommodating to the new diners in our group.
I don't quite understand why this place is so popular. Our server was very friendly, nice and attentive but he didn't write down our order and had to come back and get clarification (dude, just write it down). Then he made the same mistake with the table next to us.
The food is ok - nothing remarkable per say like "wow, this is sooo good". For example, we had some kobe beef but it did not seem like kobe - was like any ordinary hamburger patty. The bacon was just laid on top and was medium (at best) quality bacon. Meh.
They project the games on a brick wall which makes it less than ideal to watch because - it's a red BRICK WALL not a projector screen.
So - three stars = good, but unremarkable in my opinion. Others seem to really love it here.
Vegas was an attentive, friendly server. Fun atmosphere! Menu is creative and fresh. Pork nachos were to die for and the grain bowl salad with blueberries etc was really tasty. The sunset toast is a really awesome touch. Unfortunately the rest of our food that sounded so great was a little blah. The yellow curry bowl, poke bowl, and stir fry all lacked...something.
We had Mike as our server and he was AMAZING! Very helpful and kind but gave us our space. All food was good, we all 3 got bowls, I got the fried rice with wagu beef, my cousin got Mikes “go to”, wagu beef with sweet potato, Brussels sprouts and Sriracha sauce and my husband got fired rice with the meat balls. All of our plates were clean and we were very happy. It’s a must try!
I always love HG Supply and have been there for dinner, happy hour and brunch. On our latest visit, we were with my mother-in-law, who is allergic to peppers. Our server and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to make sure that she was accommodated and I know she really appreciated it.
If you're a first timer, get one of the bowls - they are the best. The bison chili, nachos and breakfast sandwich are also favorites.
My husband and I have been wanting to try this place out so we decided to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary there. The food was amazing and our waiter was great
We went to HG Supply to celebrate a birthday and it was awesome! Great food and great energy. Cool bar upstairs for after dinner drinks or happy hour.
Food is excellent, service was really good, only downside is that the room is very noisy. They play background music way too loud in my opinion. Impossible to have a conversation. But food is excellent.
Cool spot, and good service. I think I just ordered the wrong thing, but my husband enjoyed his meal. I ordered a bowl with the Tex mex base and it was pretty just a big bowl of quinoa. Chips and queso were delicious. Will be back for sure.
One of my girlfriend and I’s favorite date night spot! Grab early dinner then follow up with drinks on the amazing rooftop overlooking the beautiful city of Dallas.
Loved our server (sadly, I can't remember her name)! We shared the burger and it was amazing. Also had chips and queso - very good! Loved the Moskow Mule b/c it wasn't too sweet. If we are ever back in the Dallas area, we will come back. The rooftop bar/seating is awesome!
The menu was creative, and service was good, however, the noise level made it difficult to hear conversations across the table. I had the bbq pork tacos. They tasty but stuck to the paper they were in, making them very difficult to eat. I ended up deconstructing them and eating them with a fork, while peeling the shells away from the paper wraps.
Our server was good but distracted by having to serve too many customers at one time, so getting things like drinks/ orders took too long.
Food was really good and the overall experience was great! The only complaint was that the waitress literally seemed like she did not want to be there at all, or she was annoyed with us. It also took way too long for the drinks to come out to where I thought they forgot about it. I ordered a mimosa half way through my meal and it didn’t come out until the checks did.
The server was really nice. I liked the open space. The food came out too slow after our appetizer.
HG staff is amazing!!!! Love you guys
I can't wait to come back. We came here for a business meal and we have a vegan, a gluten free, and a few other dietary needs and every expectation was met and THEN SOME. They even brought a free drink around to each person in the restaurant to do a sunset "toast" just to thank us for coming. The waiter recommended the best drinks for what people wanted and everything far exceeded my expectations.
We thoroughly enjoyed the vibe of the place. The Old Fashioned was smooth and well made. The Ceviche was delicious, but not typical. The Yellow Curry made my tummy very happy. The stir fry with quinoa balls was very satisfying!
Have been at least 6 times for dinner. It’s perfect in every way EXCEPT it’s really, really hard to hold conversations when it’s full.
The vibe would not be dampened at all if they would add some panels and maybe install some underneath the tables. Please let them know?!
Overall experience was average. I expected more from this place since I’ve heard really amazing things. My burger was great, but I could have honestly had the same burger for a much lesser price at a different restaurant.
