Appetizer and main course were very good. The Rib Steak was served in a steel 'ravier' or casserole - which resulted in the steak getting cold very fast. Handsome, but it doesn't work. Service was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. I wish there was a 'fully monty' for 2: the price for 2-4 made it unreasonable for 2 people. I've had it before and it was delicious, but not at $160. Apple crumble dessert was seasonal and enjoyable. Sitting on the top level in the 'cockpit' made our meal especially enjoyable because it wasn't too loud.

We were disappointed in the service - our server did not know the wine list, the cuts of meat, or the right way to time the way each course should come out.

A great place for brunch! Service was prompt and efficient. The dishes were great. The only complaint was that the bacon on the eggs benedict was too chewy. The space gets very crowded in the morning and can be noisy, although we were in a corner where it was quieter.

arrived during happy hour - very quiet but that soon filled and it became a fun social space ordered a round of drinks and some house buns ( okayish nothing great ) and some baked cheese ( happy hour $ 20 for4 bites ) we’ve had so many great meals in Vancouver lately , sadly this one just didn’t wow us. we’ve been many times before. Folietta is having their moment. great food and great room! This visit we had Steak frites delicious but please add some colour to the plate - maybe a few green beans to cheer up the bland appearance. and PLEASE …the fries need to be more (Michelin maybe?) came warmish and were tasteless. not what you’d expect for Homer St. had a Macdonald’s texture and taste after they went cold The Agnolotti was fantastic but again -being picky with the Michelin nod - please add some life to the dish. a little dash of something green, fresh peas or even parsley. broccolini would be nice Salmon was a nice dish and the burger looked good …again fries were left half eaten because they just didn’t hit Service was great - loved the table on the mezzanine the happy hour bubbles were flat rose was nice Overall great conversation room if you want energy and chatter around you. I love the different spaces and have eaten in each of the rooms. sit outside if you can ! Overall fun social room with some amazing Agnolotti!!

Hi Betty, Thank you for your thoughtful feedback and continued loyalty over the years! We're delighted you enjoyed the agnolotti, lively atmosphere, and especially Tara's attentive hospitality. I'll be sure to share your kind words with her! I'm sorry several elements of your visit fell short of expectations. Your comments regarding the fries, presentation, beverages, and music are appreciated and will be shared with our culinary and management teams. While our dishes reflect intentional choices from our chefs, we always welcome opportunities to reflect and improve. Thank you again for your candour and for appreciating what makes Homer special. We look forward to welcoming you back! Yours, Michelle General Manager Homer St. Cafe & Bar
