The wings were overcooked. The fries were just okay. The server was great. Seating was good. The food was my only problem.

I waited a hour and a half to be seated for my 7:30 reservations and then another hour and ten mins to get warm and cold food. The staff were very disrespectful they were arguing with each other using profanity real loud… overall I will never visit a hooters again

They didn’t want to honor OpenTable said they weren’t taking reservations. There was a big fight between 3 customer’s and a server when we walked in. Over 35-40 min to be seated and was not even busy

Wee got started and waited almost 20 minutes before a waist came to greet us. We placed our orders, once the food started coming out it was half wrong.....they took back the order. They came back with the same order and added blacken session to fried cod. The sandwich was dry the fish was dry with no fries and described. At this point my guest only ate fried pickles and some fries.

One of the beer glasses broke around the rim and instead of pouring a new beer, we were brought the same beer poured into a new glass. The waitress came back to confirm if I wanted alcohol in the pina colada I ordered, then proceeded to bring one with no alcohol. I asked for alcohol, she brought me a shot and told me the kitchen would not remake it. she asked if I wanted water while I waited I said yes, and we were not brought water for our entire 2.5 hour experience at this location. The food was fine, but if the experience is what you pay for at hooters? This was a terrible one.

I just loveeeeeee the Buffalo shrimp 💕 anytime I wanna step out for a slight bite , I come here. I always book seats before I show up to avoid waiting and I’m always seated immediately. Only Con is everyone needs to be on the same accord when it comes to checking on tables once you’ve ordered and started eating. As a waitress, they should ALWAYS double back asking if anything else is needed. I shouldn’t have to get up and find a worker requesting anything.

Reservations doesn’t matter on their weekend hours. Waited about 30minutes for my reserved table. Hostess said that they still take reservations even when they are at full capacity. Hooters is Hooters, just plan according.

The heat was cranked way too high. We left earlier than we wanted to because it was uncomfortably hot in there. The fries were undercooked, the service was very slow and inattentive. Took forever to get drinks even though the restaurant was not busy at all.

FAQs

This location can work for a casual, game-night or low-key date, but it’s not ideal for a quiet, romantic evening. Hooters of Wells Street is a lively, sports-bar style spot with HD TVs, wings, burgers and beer. Multiple guests reported loud tables, staff arguments, and occasional fights or hot dining rooms, so if you want a relaxed, intimate night consider an earlier weekday visit or call ahead to check seating. For a fun, casual date centered on watching games and classic bar food, it can be a fit.

Hooters of Wells Street follows a casual daytime schedule. According to the owner info, hours are Mon–Thu and Sun 11:00 am–9:00 pm, and Fri 11:00 am–5:00 pm. If you plan a visit on a weekend evening or need to confirm holiday or special hours, call the location first since guests report busy periods and occasional reservation issues.

The best time is early weekday evenings or weekday afternoons when the restaurant is quieter. Many guests report long waits, especially on weekend nights and during big game times, and some say reservations aren’t always honored. If you must visit on a weekend, arrive early or call ahead. For a more relaxed service experience, aim for Monday–Thursday or mid-afternoon hours.

Expect a lively, sports-bar vibe with plenty of TVs, beer, and classic American bar food. The owner describes an upbeat, casual setting ideal for watching games. However, several guests report that the room can be noisy, hot, and occasionally chaotic, examples include staff arguing loudly, fights, and very slow service. It’s a fun, energetic spot when running well, but experiences vary, so pick quieter times if you prefer a calmer atmosphere.

Casual dress is appropriate, the owner lists the dress code as Casual Dress. Expect a relaxed, sports-bar style environment where jeans, tees, and casual attire are perfectly acceptable.

You can try calling the location ahead to request seating preferences or accommodations, but there’s no formal information about handling special requests. Several guests experienced reservation or seating issues, so calling before arrival is a good idea to confirm anything important (party seating, accessibility, or timing).

Families do visit and guests have celebrated birthdays with children, so the spot is family-friendly in a casual sense. Hooters’ menu focuses on wings, burgers, seafood and bar items rather than a formal kids’ menu. If you’re dining with young children, consider an earlier seating and call ahead to check menu options and seating comfort.

There’s no formal waiting-list policy listed, but guests frequently report long waits, even with reservations, and staff sometimes prioritize smaller parties. Expect to wait during peak nights and game times; calling ahead and arriving early can help. If you have a fixed schedule, confirm your reservation with the restaurant before arrival.
