                                              This was an excellent hotel very good lots of activities great restaurants however I do have to admit the housekeeping was not that great. The bed wasn’t done properly and the wet towels were left on the floor were left on the floor and not taken. Besides that everything else is perfect.

                                              I booked our reservation online, and when we arrived to check in, a gentleman very rudely informed us that we had booked the bar area. Nowhere in my reservation did it say that we had booked a table in the bar area. I was dining with my 4-year-old daughter, so why would I intentionally book a table at the bar? The way we were spoken to was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. We were made to feel uncomfortable from the moment we arrived, simply because of an issue that was not clearly stated in our reservation. Thankfully, a very kind manager stepped in, treated us with respect, and took care of us. I truly appreciated their help and professionalism. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that we ended up sitting there for an hour enjoying our dinner, and not a single other table was full. This makes the way we were initially treated even harder to understand. Mistakes and misunderstandings can happen, but there is absolutely no excuse for being rude to customers, especially when they have done nothing wrong. The experience could have been handled politely and professionally from the beginning. I am grateful to the manager who stepped in, but the initial interaction definitely left a negative impression.

                                              Cottages is essentially the breakfast buffet’s dining room. The menu is very limited but the food is good and the service was also good. Pricing perhaps a bit steep. I would rather suggest ordering off this same menu in the lobby bar and lounge area. It’s got a great vibe and the menu makes more sense for that locale.

                                              My wife & I both ordered the broccoli cheese soup; it was lukewarm warm. She had a side of french fries. She believes that they were reheated; not good. I had the fish tacos (2) and side garden salad. Both were good. For the price, we expect much better. Service from a recent hospitality graduate was friendly and attentive. She brought me a second serving of soup, which was also lukewarm, but tasty.

                                              I was not notified that it was buffet only and the price was very high. Also very slow service to get anything from a waiter, but more disappointed in such a high price and value for food.

                                              Not quite what we have expected for a JW Hotel. Ceasar Chicken Salad tasteless with a cold piece of chicken. Screaming children everywhere. Not a nice ambience!
