The Krebs is an historic restaurant founded in 1899 by Fred and Cora Krebs. The restaurant has been a popular landmark in Skaneateles for over a century, serving presidents, dignitaries and celebrities. The Krebs was re-opened after undergoing a complete renovation while carefully preserving the history and ambiance that visitors have grown accustomed to. The restaurant is a farm to table concept that utilizes the freshest hand selected local ingredients and the highest quality meats and seafood. All profits from the restaurant are donated to local women and children's charities of Central New York.

I would have to say this is the best restaurant in the Skaneateles/Auburn area. Our meal was fabulous. We had Pumpkin Curry Soup, pork belly app (one of the best we have had), Short rib, and sweet potato gnocchi. I hate to admit it, but we also had sticky toffee cake for desert. Service and the decor is wonderful. Just go there, you won’t be disappointed

Service was excellent, although someone forgot my wife’s ketchup….flawless otherwise. Bar service was outstanding, prepped drinks and service were also outstanding.

We had a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the door. The staff and food were outstanding as well as the elegant, comfortable atmosphere. We can't wait to try Sunday Brunch!

We greatly enjoyed our experience at the Krebs 1899. Our cocktails were perfect. Our dinners were delicious and aesthetically served/presented. Even more memorable and outstanding, our server Erica was perfectly pleasant and engaging. We came in as strangers and left as friends and will definitely dine there when we visit this area again. We have been to Krebs several times. This visit was disappointing. My husband ordered a dry martini and instead he got a dirty martini. My husband ordered a meal that was suppose to come with vegetables so he ordered fries along with it. It came with mashed potatoes. It’s the little things that Krebs normally gets right. Not this time.

It was my friend’s Birthday, and it was a Wonderful Experience. Kreb’s is Outstanding; food, service and exquisite surroundings. Food quality and presentation are Unparalleled. On my friend’s dessert plate “Happy Birthday” was hand written in chocolate sauce… she was so Happy.The only disappointment is that I’m not able to dine at Kreb’s as much as I would like! It has been my Favorite Restaurant for many years!! Thank you so much for everything you do!!!
