    My husband and I ate at the Il Piatto in Washington DC for our anniversary and the food was outstanding. I had the Costine/braised short ribs with spinach and polenta. My husband had the Rigatoni Alla Panna/pork, cream & broccoli rabe ragu w/truffle oil. We enjoyed everything and the staff was so attentive. They gave us complimentary desserts recognizing our anniversay. The Brulee cheesecake was amazing.

    The restaurant was great for brunch. Great views and food... and the staff was extremely friendly. My friends and I celebrated two of our birthdays there today and they handed us cards and brought us a little dessert. Great way to end our joint birthday trip! Thank you!

    We always enjoy going to old Ebbett Grill anytime we’re in Washington DC, but today’s meal had to probably be one of the best ever. The new Mr. Banks scallops is a new menu item and a favorite among my wife and I. It was a great blend of scallops, gnocchi, and vegetables.  I had the fried chicken rice bowl, which was delicious and flavorful. The chocolate bread pudding is a must and my son enjoyed the steak and Fritz
