Excellent first time experience here. We will definitely be back, from food to service, all top class.

We had a great time at Chico Malo. Our waiter Dallas was amazing - very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Duck was delicious and fun. We definitely will be back.

My wife and I had an early (4 pm) reservation before attending a Mercury basketball game. Of course, a table was available when we came in (3:55), but as time passed, it started to fill up. Service was excellent - attentive without being a bother, fast with what was ordered, talked us through some special requests to get exactly what we wanted, and friendly. The drinks were good. The carnitas nachos were excellent - and huge. They’re a full meal for two IMO. My only complaint is that the music plays far too loud. It made just talking across the table a challenge. Others had that issue, too, because a gentleman seated at a neighboring table was basically yelling at his companions… I could hear every word (although I didn’t want to at all). When (not if) we go back, perhaps the weather will cooperate and we could try sitting outside (it showed 113 degrees as we drove into town).

Sat outside on the patio and our server Allen was attentive and kind! He reviewed the menu. The weather was perfect and that patio is gorgeous! We had a light breakfast professional meeting and this was a wonderful environment for that.
