Wonderful ambiance, friendly staff- everyone is so knowledgeable. Brian and Owen are so friendly and truly great at their jobs. Dominique, the manager, is always so kind; much appreciated. The food was delicious with meticulous preparation behind it. I am not a tequila drinker, but they sure have a ton of it!

El Five never disappoints. I’ve celebrated multiple milestones at this restaurant over the years, as well as when my partner and I want to enjoy a delicious meal in a great location. This latest visit to El Five was to host work colleagues in town for a conference. El Five did not disappoint- our waiter put together a dinner menu plan for us, kept the tapas and drinks flowing, and provided such a warm and inviting environment for all of us to talk comfortably and catch up on work and life. My out of town colleagues were blown away by food- El Five is a unique culinary experience that was enjoyed by everyone in our large party, even across multiple dietary restrictions. Cannot recommend El Five highly enough!

My wife and I joined you for dinner tonight and it was truly a 10/10 experience. As hospitality professionals, we were incredibly impressed by the level of execution across the board. We shared six items and each was progressively better than the last. The Lamb Neck and the Bug Eye Tuna were absolute standouts—the depth of flavor and presentation were world-class. We sat at the chef’s counter (the bar area), and it was a highlight of our night. Watching the team’s craftsmanship and seeing the dishes being built with such precision right in front of us added a wonderful layer to the meal. The atmosphere you've created is fantastic; it feels incredibly homey and cozy, capturing that authentic "fonda" spirit perfectly. Service was top-tier—attentive, professional, and seamless. The only minor detraction from an otherwise flawless evening was the presence of a screaming child nearby. Given the intimate and cozy nature of the dining room, it did impact the atmosphere of the night quite a bit. That aside, the soul and quality of the food at Alma Fonda Fina are undeniable. We look forward to returning soon.

Took two friends with me who had never been to Briar Common, and they loved it! Made a great Happy Hour impression with the house chips and onion dip, and everything else we had was delicious. The vanilla edged Old Fashioned was a real treat, too.
