Alexander's Craft Cocktails and Kitchen was named after the distillery located on the grounds from 1861-1865, which washed away in a flood (historic marker located between the restaurant & The Manor).The newly renovated main bar is located on 1st floor, and opens onto expansive wrap-around, creekside porches. The warm aubergine & copper walls of the third floor lounge contrast the amazing art representation from local galleries.     The food and the service were impeccable. Our server Alley was very gracious, very accommodating very attentive. All the things she recommended on the menu from the appetizers to the desserts were spot on. The hostess greeted us by name when we came into the door because she knew that we had a reservation.     We always visit Alexander's when we are in Salado. We had Salmon and Pork Chop on consecutive nights.. Both were tender and succulent. Food, service and price were exceptional. A must visit while in Salado.
