Restaurants near Belturbet Golf Club

My husband my daughter and myself attended this restaurant for lunch on Sunday and what a great decision it was ! He had earlier climbed Stairway to Heaven and decided to stop off in Carrick for food. We booked by open table rocked up at said time and were seated quickly. There was a great ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant as groups gathered for Sunday lunch and banter. The building is lovely with large windows and high ceilings. The food was top notch - we all had prawns as starters, which were delicious - I had beef and my husband and daughter had chicken burger as main course - beef was melt in the mouth and the chicken burger was fabulous - all this plus two glasses of wine and two coffees came to €124 - we were so impressed we have decided to come back with all our daughters for a long weekend! Well done everyone for your hospitality and attention throughout the meal ! Ten out of ten for sure !

Not our first visit , People's is a great favourite. Tried the Percy French Bar for a change from the Restarant. Excellent!

We visited the The Claremont yesterday evening as a family, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing—every one of us cleared our plates and still had room for dessert, which says it all. The prices were very reasonable too, roughly what you’d expect to pay in most restaurants, but the overall experience felt far more premium. The atmosphere was lovely—very chilled out yet still had a classy, almost 5-star feel to it. Everything was spotless and clearly very well maintained. We’ll definitely be back again.

25/04/26 "Wow!" is one word I would use. Warm welcome, cocktail of the day was a Gin based elderflower, Prosecco, lemon delight! My partner and I went for the taster menu. I don't want to spoil the menu for anyone still to visit, but highlights were the fish dish, beef rib, and the dessert. The sommelier recommended the red "Coste di Moro" for main courses that was perfection! Such an intimate, pleasurable experience. I am highly impressed by the cuisine, staff, and atmosphere. My only regret is it has taken so long to visit, being a local!! I highly recommend sitting at the pass, as someone who loves cooking, this for me, was the highlight! Seemless! Thank you Marty et al for a great evening! From start to finish, it was perfection! We look forward to visiting again. Steph and Jarno. FANTASTIC!

We so enjoyed our wonderful supper at Honestly Kitchen in Strandhill! Delicious meal, very accommodating staff and super warm environment! We'll be back!
