Restaurants near Benedictine Abbey

Lovely atmosphere, excellent service and the food was outstanding for a local village restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised and also had the nicest venison that I have had in a long time.

Excellent food, nice to see a proper vegetarian section that is interchangeable between vegetarian and vegan. One of the best fake meat burgers I’ve ever had. Staff were all very friendly despite the place being rather busy. Nice atmosphere, not too cheesy or cheap but still rather fun and early 00s rock/indie music was a nice trip down memory lane.

We had a wonderful meal at Cafè 1. Their staff were fantastic, always looking out for our needs, and very helpful and knowledgeable about their menu. We were there as a family of four as Early Birds, and we took advantage of that special menu, which was great value for money considering the quality of the food that is on offer at this restaurant. We have been touring Norway and Scotland for a while now, and this is the best meal we have had on our trip, thank you! Stand-outs reported by my daughters were the calamari entrees, and the carbonara. The soup was fantastic, as was a beef salad with chilli added for me. We definitely recommend this as a must-go if you are visiting Inverness. Cheers!

The staff was very cordial upon arrival. The Venison and Haggis Burger was excellent. The Salmon and Coconut Curry was spot on.
