- JJoanneNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe place is modern clean and on a busy night lively the food was very good, service was great and wasn’t hounded for more drinks. The olives were by far the best I’ve tasted, when asked for the bill the lady promptly brought it over and pointed out that a service charge had been added which is what I liked, up front and not hidden like other restaurants I go to. On all great experience for my husband’s birthdayMore infoGino D’Acampo NewcastlePrice: Expensive• Italian• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.2
- NNigelLondon •17 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoExcellent Friday lunch during restaurant week with my father. Starters of double cheese souffle and game terrine with an excellent chutney, mains of chicken in tarragon sauce was polished off by dad and I had a very rich belly pork with black pudding and apple sauce, which was delicious, earthy and unctuous. Had an excellent cheese plate off the al a carte menu followed by rhubarb and ginger sorbet for us both. Coffee with delicious truffles rounded off the meal An excellent and competitive wine list, we had a bottle of Californian merlot which was very fruity, mellow which complimented the starters, followed by an Italian pinot nero which was a little lighter but delicious, for my money the merlot just had the edge. A plum sake with dessert really complimented the tastes of the sorbet. A very relaxing 3 hr lunch, restaurant was full and quite buzzy during the entire time, service was quick, polite and unobtrusive. An excellent lunch.More info21Price: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
- PPAULNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoFrom start to finish our experience was brilliant. The staff were lovely and friendly and on the ball throughout our dining experience. The food was beautiful, I had starter and main course and the partner had main course and dessert. We couldnt fault the food at all. It was very tasty and well presented and the cocktail was great and made even better as it was happy hour on our visit.More infoHard Rock Cafe - NewcastlePrice: Moderate• American• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.5
- SSusanNewcastle and Northumberland •11 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe food, service and ambience was excellent. I have dietary issues and Luke our server was very understanding and diligent about this he went above and beyond making sure I was aware of any items I could not have. The other waiter was very good also and both very friendly, knowledgeable about the food and attentive. We'd highly recommend.More infoDobson & ParnellPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.5
