Restaurants near Botanical Gardens

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Balawoo. We were staying at an airbnb up the street and wanted to do a fancy dinner one night. This place was perfect. They had a lovely musician and the staff were so welcoming. We split a bottle of wine and had the 3-course meal. The food was incredible, especially the catch of the day and dessert. We highly recommend!

When you walk in you get a chance to have a drink and some small bites looking at the view before you’re seated which was a nice touch and those apps were better than my meal. The front tables have amazing views but most tables are not in the front, I would absolutely request one. The bread was stale. I had the potato and leek soup which was amazing (5 stars) and then the snapper which was over cooked and the coconut sauce was blah- didn’t add much. The hostess was very friendly and kind but the waiter wasn’t in a great mood. It is a solid 4 stars out of 5.

Really decent food at a reasonable price. Waiter service was excellent. The reason i have not given a 5 star review is that this os a resort and we foind that even though ypu have a confirmed reservation througg Opentable which indeed the resort had confirmed you are not guaranteed a seat in the main restaurant area.
