Ambience, quirky, great service and excellent food - Etsu Izakaya has it all! We celebrated a 17th birthday with family. Servers asked if a sparkler on the dessert was acceptable straight away. Each dish was explained and meticulously prepared- absolutely magnificent. What did surprise us was all the toddlers dining in and how well the staff worked to make everyone’s night special. Highly recommend and we will return!

This was our second time here after a great first dining experience...always a risk right! If anything, this visit was better! Fabulous food choices, amazing friendly and polite service. A perfect choice for our anniversary which was acknowledged with 1 free wine and a beer! Thank you to the young lady who served us. Top job! 10/10

Greeted by very friendly host, seated with amazing views over the beach/ocean, very efficient, friendly wait staff. Waiter very knowledgeably explained the menu & how it worked, making helpful suggestions. Never had to ask for anything. Water appeared when needed. The food was absolutely delicious. Coffin Bay oysters (to die for🤣) dumplings stuffed with prawn, the iconic Moreton Bay bug rolls did not disappoint, the duck curry sooo delicious & nicely spicy, the roti the best we’ve ever had & the golden gaytime dessert the perfect finish. Great wine list. Needless to say no other food required for the rest of the day!! We will return!

Booked for a large group and communication was excellent. Very helpful service, extremely accommodating. Great food & atmosphere - especially for a mid week rainy night.
